Dramatic Transformation of Digital Presence
Silverleaf Resorts was one of the largest private timeshare developers in the US, with 13 timeshare properties and approximately 150,000 members.
ISSUE
Despite its significant size, Silverleaf had little positive digital presence. Its website and links were very neglected and in poor repair. Search results for the company revealed many complaints, damaging videos, and poor ratings from Trip Advisor, Yelp, and others. The website was over five years old and carried very low traffic. Presence on Facebook was limited, and most of the Facebook comments were complaints.
SOLUTION
We helped rebrand and rebuild the Silverleaf website with more responsive, eye-catching content and images. The website also linked all their properties with a consistent and integrated positioning. We helped train a new social media team to engage online users and brought in SEO experts to improve first page results and minimize negative results.
RESULTS
Silverleaf web traffic has increased by more than 50% year over year since the new website was launched. Positive comments and ratings predominate and negative comments relegated to a much lower profile. Social media presence improved dramatically with over 20,000 Facebook fans in the first year. The company hired a Digital Director to continue to develop its online presence and to improve communication both with clientele and inside the company. Company culture became much more digitally mature.
